EXTOL EDI Integrator - Query EXTOL internal files to send email

19th June 2012

Sometimes using shipped EXTOL tools is not enough to give us the information we need about the EDI documents we generating/enveloping/wrapping/sending.

In our example we are going to query EXTOL file EXLLCRL1 each time we run CRTAPPDTA(B). Each time we query EXLLCRL1, we will retrieve the value for: LCFSCR. The values in LCFSCR will have a status code for Sent, Generated, Wrapped, Gen error and etc.

If a code we are monitoring for is present, we will then can EXENOTEC.

For an expanded explanation goto Send email from CL job submitting CRTAPPDTA.
