Debugging Inbound EDI Errors in EXTOL EDI Integrator

6th June 2014

If there as an inbound translation error in EXTOL EDI Integrator (EEI), users will want to go to Mailroom Menu – Option #1 from Main Menu.

From the Mailroom Menu, users will take Option #4 – Work with Incoming Application Data Log.

Once in the Incoming Application Data Log, users can place an ’M’ on the File set where the error is Mixed or Trans err (See Below).

Once we place an ’M’ on the File Set entry, we will see the error messages.

The message below is reflective of an error that occurs for an EFL Required Lookup. In some instances we are able to hit [F1] to obtain additional details.
